Kemampuan Membaca Pemahaman dengan Menggunakan Teknik Herringbone Siswa Kelas VIII Mts Negeri Kolaka Utara Kabupaten Kolaka Utara

Abstract

Tujuan yang hendak dicapai dalam penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan kemampuan membaca pemahaman dengan menggunakan teknik herringbone siswa kelas VIII MTs Negeri 2 Kolaka Utara Kabupaten Kolaka Utara. Teknik penarikan sampel penelitian ini secara random yang melibatkan dua kelas yaitu dengan. jumlah sampel penelitian ini adalah 21 siswa yang merupakan kelas VIII A sebagai kelas eksperimen dan 20 siswa yang merupakan kelas VIII D sebagai kelas kontrol, teknik analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pencapaian KKM posttest membaca pemahaman setelah penggunaan teknik herringbone, yang mendapat nilai > 75 sebanyak 20 siswa (95,3%) dari 21 sampel dan yang mendapatkan nilai < 75 sebanyak 1 siswa (4,8%) dari 21 sampel. Dengan demikian, hasil membaca pemahaman setelah penggunaan teknik herringbone telah tuntas atau telah memadai apabila dikonfirmasikan dengan KKM sekolah mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Sehingga disimpulkan terjadi peningkatan kemampuan siswa atau teknik herringbone mampu digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran membaca pemahaman siswa kelas VIII MTs Negeri 2 Kolaka Utara Kabupaten Kolaka Utara.
