Meningkatkan Motivasi Belajar Siswa melalui Penerapan Model Cooperative Learning Tipe STAD pada Mata Pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia Kelas 5
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan motivasi belajar siswa setelah menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Student Team Achievment Division (STAD) di kelas V SD Negeri Kapota Yudha Makassar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan menggunakan model Kemmis dan MC Taggart yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari 4 tahap yaitu tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini berjumlah 29 siswa kelas V. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan data kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan motivasi belajar siswa dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Pada siklus I sebesar 62%, pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 87%. Dengan pencapaian tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa tingkat ketuntasan yang berada dalam rentang 75%-100% masuk dalam kualifikasi Sangat Baik, sehingga pelaksanaan tindakan ini dinyatakan berhasil.
