Analisis Naskah Drama "Matahari Di Jalan Kecil" Karya Arifin C. Noor Menggunakan Pendekatan Struktural Semiotik
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis naskah drama ”Matahari Di Jalan Kecil” karya Arifin C. Noor dengan menggunakan pendekatan struktural seimotik. Drama ini menggambarkan realitas sosial masyarakat kelas bawah yang hidup di lingkungan pabrik dengan fokus pada peristiwa sederhana namun sarat makna yaitu seorang pemuda miskin yang makan di warung tanpa mampu membayar. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, menelaah unsur-unsur intrinsik seperti tema, tokoh, alur, latar, sudut pandang, gaya bahasa, dan amanat melalui pendekatan struktural. Selanjutnya, kajian semiotik digunakan untuk menganalisis makna tanda-tanda (ikon, indeks, dan simbol) yang terdapat dalam teks. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa drama ini sarat dengan simbol-simbol kehidupan sosial, kritik terhadap ketidakpercayaan dan ketidakjujuran, serta pentingnya empati di tengah tekanan ekonomi.
