Persepsi Siswa Terhadap Pemahaman Pembelajaran Menulis Teks Naratif
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami bagaimana siswi kelas VIII SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Kota Tarakan memahami teks naratif pada gaya belajar yang mereka sukai untuk mendukung pemahaman terhadap teks naratif. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif digunakan dengan pengumpulan data seperti observasi, kuisioner dan wawancara. SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Kota Tarakan memiliki 17 siswa dan satu guru Bahasa Indonesia sebagai subjek penelitian, dengan 5 siswi adalah sampel utama untuk wawancara mendalam. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar siswi tahu dalam memahami teks naratif. Namun mereka kesulitan dalam menemukan struktur naratif tertentu, seperti alur dan tema. Faktor penyebab kesulitan pemahaman lebih banyak disebabkan rendahnya minat terhadap teks naratif ini dibandingkan metode pengajaran guru. Penelitian ini menyarankan bahwa gaya belajar yang berbeda, seperti belajar sambil bermain dan kegiatan pembelajaran di luar kelar, dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap teks naratif.
