Gangguan Fonologi Fonem /r/ Pada Orang Tua: Tinjauan Psikolinguistik
Abstract
Penelitian ini mengkaji masalah pelafalan fonem /r/ pada orang dewasa dengan sudut pandang psikolinguistik, khususnya fenomena cadel yang dialami oleh dua narasumber berusia 44 tahun (MS) dan 52 tahun (RS). Pada penelitian ini, pendekatan yang dipakai adalah metode kualitatif, di mana informasi diperoleh melalui wawancara mendalam untuk memahami pengalaman, penyebab, serta cara pengucapan fonem /r/ yang terganggu. Analisis data difokuskan pada perubahan fonem /r/ menjadi /l/ dalam kata-kata yang dilafalkan oleh para narasumber. Temuan penelitian mengindikasikan bahwa gangguan pelafalan fonem /r/ terjadi secara konsisten pada kedua partisipan, dengan variasi pola yang dipengaruhi oleh faktor genetik dan riwayat kesehatan sejak kecil. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa gangguan fonologi yang dialami orang dewasa dapat timbul dari berbagai faktor biologis dan fisik, serta memiliki makna penting dalam memahami proses produksi bahasa dari sudut pandang psikolinguistik.
