Tindak Tutur Ilokusi Encouraging Dalam Lirik Lagu Pada Film The Greatest Showman Karya Michael Gracey
Abstract
Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi berbagai jenis tindak tutur ilokusi Encouraging yang dapat ditemukan dalam lirik lagu pada film The Greatest Showman. Objek dalam penelitian ini adalah lirik lagu-lagu yang terdapat pada filmThe Greatest Showman antara lain, A Million Dreams, Come Alive, The Other Side, Never Enough, This Is Me, Rewrite the Stars, From Now On, dan The Greatest Show. Data dikumpulkan dari film dan diunduh dari internet lalu disalin ke dalam transkip ortografis. Data yang disususn diamati dan disusun berdasarkan kategori berbagai jenis tindak tutur sesuai dengan teori Searle (1970). Hasil menunjukan bahwa tindak tutur asertif (menyatakan) paling dominan 47,92%, diikuti oleh direktif (menyarankan) sebesar 17%. Tindak tutur yang terdapat pada lirik lagu ini efektif menyampaikan pesan-pesan motivasi dan dorongan (encouraging) kepada pendengar
