Kemampuan Manajerial Kepala Sekolah dalam Penerapan Sistem Pembelajaran Online di Sekolah Menengah Atas Negeri 3 Palopo
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) Mendeskripsikan kemampuan manajerial kepala sekolah dalam penerapan sistem pembelajaran online di SMA Negeri 3 Palopo. 2) Menganalisis problematika yang dihadapi kepala sekolah dalam penerapan sistem pembelajaran online di SMA Negeri 3 Palopo. 3) Memetakan upaya kepala sekolah dalam mengatasi problematika yang dihadapi dalam penerapan sistem pembelajaran online di SMA Negeri 3 Palopo. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah jenis penelitian deskriptif dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Data diperoleh dengan melakukan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teori Miles dan Huberman, yaitu: reduksi data, display data, dan verifikasi data. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: 1) Kemampuan manajerial kepala sekolah dalam penerapan sistem pembelajaran online di SMA Negeri 3 Palopo dilakukan dengan baik mulai dari perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, dan pengawasan. 2) Problematika yang dihadapi kepala sekolah dalam penerapan sistem pembelajaran online di SMA Negeri 3 Palopo yaitu; masalah kompetensi guru, perbedaan tingkat pemahaman peserta didik, orang tua yang tidak memiliki android, dan kurangnya kerjasama antara guru dan peserta didik. 3) Upaya kepala sekolah dalam mengatasi problematika yang dihadapi dalam penerapan sistem pembelajaran online di SMA Negeri 3 Palopo yaitu: a) Terkait kompetensi guru melalui belajar dengan guru yang lebih mahir dalam menggunakan teknologi informasi, mengikuti pelatihan, seminar serta melakukan workshop, b) Terkait perbedaan tingkat pemahaman peserta didik dengan pemberian motivasi, c) Terkait orang tua yang tidak memiliki android, kepala sekolah menyediakan beberapa android untuk peserta didik yang tidak memilikinya sama sekali di rumahnya, d) Terkait kurangnya kerjasama antara orang tua dan peserta didik dalam pembelajaran online yaitu dengan memberikan motivasi dan pemahaman kepada orang tua peserta didik agar tetap mendampingi putra-purinya belajar di rumah.
