Ekspresi Stilistika Data dalam Novel Sebuah Usaha Melupakan karya Boy Candra
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji bentuk-bentuk ekspresi stilistika data dalam novel Sebuah Usaha Melupakan karya Boy Candra. Permasalahan utama yang dirumuskan peneliti ialah bagaimana bentuk dan jenis aspek gramatikal yang muncul dalam novel tersebut, yang meliputi pengacuan personal, demonstratif, komparatif, konjungsi, serta substitusi. Tujuan penelitian ini sejalan dengan fokus kajian, yakni mengidentifikasi serta menganalisis jenis-jenis aspek gramatikal yang terdapat dalam novel Sebuah Usaha Melupakan karya Boy Candra. Metode yang diterapkan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data yang digunakan berasal dari novel Sebuah Usaha Melupakan karya Boy Candra dengan total 224 halaman. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui teknik membaca dan mencatat. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, dapat disimpulkan bahwa jenis-jenis aspek gramatikal yang ditemukan dalam novel Sebuah Usaha Melupakan antara lain: (1) pengacuan persona yang terdiri atas lima data, yaitu kekasihnya, ia, dia, kau, dan mereka; (2) pengacuan demonstratif yang meliputi Minggu lalu, Masa lalu, Akhir-akhir ini sebagai demonstratif waktu (temporal), serta Di tempat rapat dan Di kantor sebagai demonstratif tempat (lokasional); (3) perangkaian atau konjungsi yang hanya ditemukan satu data, yaitu konjungsi tetapi yang berfungsi menunjukkan pertentangan antar kalimat; dan (4) penyulihan atau substitusi yang meliputi substitusi nomina, verba, frasa/klausa, serta kalimat. Namun demikian, tidak ditemukan bentuk kohesi gramatikal komparatif dalam novel Funiculi Funiculi karya Sarah Lailatil Fadla.
