Analisis Frasa Idiomatik dalam Lirik Lagu Tondi-Tondiku karya Herbert Aruan
Abstract
Penelitian ini mengkaji frasa idiomatik dalam lirik lagu “Tondi-tondiku” dari karya Herbert Aruan. Studi ini mengungkapkan sebuah kasih sayang seorang ayah yang sangat mendalam kepada boru panggoaran (anak perempuan pertama). Kajian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis frasa idiomatik yang terdapat dalam lirik lagu tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif yang cenderung menggunakan analisis pada pendekatan teoretis fraseologi oleh Charles Bally. Data penelitian diambil dari penggalan lirik lagu “Tondi-tondiku” melalui teknik baca, simak, dan catat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa frasa idiomatik dalam lirik lagu “Tondi-tondiku” memiliki makna kiasan yang sangat mendalam dan berfungsi untuk menyampaikan pesan serta menciptakan nuansa artistik yang kuat. Melalui penggunaan kata-kata dan frasa disetiap bait-bait lagu menggambarkan tentang konteks bahasa dan budaya Batak. Temuan dari setiap isi lagu ini dapat memberikan wawasan untuk mempertahankan warisan melalui musik dan terus berlanjut bagi perkembangan bahasa modern pada masyarakat lokal di indonesia. Studi ini menjadi referensi bagi peneliti lainnya yang ingin mengkaji tentang lagu terkhusus dalam penggunaan frasa idiomatik.
