Komparasi Deiksis Bahasa Bugis Dialek Barru dengan Bahasa Makassar Dialek Lakiung

Abstract

Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif, yaitu penelitian yang tidak menggunakan perhitungan. Dalam ilmu sastra, sumber datanya berupa sosiopragmatik bahasa. Data yang digunakan sebagai dasar penelitian ini berwujud kata dan kalimat yang terdapat pada bahasa keseharian penutur. Sumber pengambilan data tersebut berasal penutur asli bahasa Bugis dialek Barru dengan bahasa Makassar dialek Lakiung. Data yang dikumpulkan dalam analisis deskriptif berupa kata, dan kalimat bukan berupa angka. Penelitian kualitatif bertujuan untuk membangun persepsi alamiah sebuah objek, jadi peneliti mendekatkan diri kepada objek secara utuh atau holistik.

Hasil dari penelitian dalam menganalisis komparasi deiksis bahasa Bugis dialek Barru dengan bahasa Makassar dialek Lakiung ditemukan bahwa kedua bahasa tersebut sangat memerhatikan tingkat kesopanan saat berbicara terlebih apabila mitra tuturnya adalah orang yang lebih tua terlebih lagi apabila mitra tuturnya memiliki strata sosial atau derajat tertentu dalam lapisan masyarakat seperti orang yang berasal dari keturunan bangsawan. Bahasa Bugis dialek Lakiung dan bahasa Makssar dialek Lakiung memiliki lima deiksis yaitu deiksis persona, deiksis waktu, deiksis tempat, deiksis wacana, dan deiksis sosial.
