Nuansa Makna Penggunaan Sinonim dalam Puisi "Aku" Karya Chairil Anwar
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan mengungkap nuansa makna yang dihasilkan oleh penggunaan sinonim dalam puisi “Aku” karya Chairil Anwar serta menjelaskan fungsi stilistika dan ideologis dari pemilihan diksi tersebut. Kajian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan objek penelitian berupa diksi dan frasa bersinonim dalam teks puisi. Data dikumpulkan melalui studi kepustakaan dengan teknik simak dan catat, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sinonim dalam puisi “Aku” tidak berfungsi sebagai pengganti kata secara leksikal semata, melainkan sebagai sarana pembentuk nuansa makna yang intens, konotatif, dan ideologis. Chairil Anwar secara konsisten memilih sinonim parsial dengan nilai rasa ekstrem untuk menegaskan sikap eksistensial aku-lirik, seperti individualisme, perlawanan, dan keberanian menghadapi kefanaan. Perbedaan nuansa makna antara diksi utama dan sinonim leksikalnya memperlihatkan bahwa kesamaan makna dalam puisi bersifat kontekstual dan stilistika. Dengan demikian, penggunaan sinonim menjadi elemen estetis penting yang memperkuat intensitas makna, karakter puitis, serta ideologi bahasa dalam puisi “Aku”.
