Peran Literasi dalam Mengurangi Penggunaan Kosakata Tidak Baku (N-G) Pada Masyarakat Pedalaman Kabupaten Gowa: Kajian Antropolinguistik Dengan Pendekatan Etnografi Komunikasi Dell Hymes
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki penggunaan kosakata nonstandar (N-G) dalam praktik komunikasi masyarakat pedesaan di Kabupaten Gowa dan menganalisis peran literasi dalam mengurangi penggunaannya melalui perspektif antropolinguistik dan pendekatan etnografi komunikasi Dell Hymes. Fenomena pencampuran bahasa antara bahasa Indonesia dan Makassar mencerminkan interferensi linguistik yang dibentuk oleh praktik bahasa sosial, budaya, dan kebiasaan. Penelitian ini mengadopsi metode kualitatif deskriptif, dengan data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, dan data dianalisis menggunakan kerangka SPEAKING untuk lebih memahami konteks penggunaan bahasa dalam interaksi sosial. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa kosakata nonstandar lebih umum digunakan dalam konteks informal, dipengaruhi oleh kedekatan sosial dan norma lokal, sementara tingkat literasi yang rendah diidentifikasi sebagai faktor kunci yang berkontribusi pada fenomena ini.
