Efektivitas Penggunaan Media Canva dalam Pembelajaran Menulis Cerita Fabel Bahasa Bugis Siswa Kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Sinjai
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan: (1) kemampuan menulis cerita fabel dalam bahasa Bugis siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Sinjai sebelum menggunakan media Canva; (2) kemampuan menulis cerita fabel dalam bahasa Bugis siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Sinjai setelah menggunakan media Canva; (3) efektivitas penggunaan media Canva dalam pembelajaran menulis cerita fabel. Penelitian ini bersifat kuantitatif. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Sinjai. Sampel yang dipilih berjumlah 36 siswa dengan menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik tes. Keseluruhan data dianalisis melalui beberapa tahap: (1) membuat daftar skor mentah; (2) membuat distribusi frekuensi dan presentase dari skor mentah; (3) menganalisis data yang diperoleh dengan analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis statistik inferensial. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) kemampuan menulis cerita fabel bahasa Bugis siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Sinjai sebelum menggunakan media Canva masih berada pada kategori kurang. Nilai rata-rata yang dicapai adalah 65,39; (2) kemampuan menulis cerita fabel bahasa Bugis siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Sinjai setelah menggunakan media berada pada kategori baik. Nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh mencapai 83,74; (3) hasil uji hipotesis menunjukkan p-value = 0,001 < 0,05 karena p-value lebih kecil dari taraf signifikansi 0,05, H₁ diterima dan H₀ ditolak. Berdasarkan hasil analisis tersebut dapat disimpulkan perbedaan antara nilai pretest dan posttest sehingga penggunaan media Canva efektif terhadap kemampuan menulis cerita fabel bahasa Bugis siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Sinjai.
