Penerapan Model Problem Based Learning dalam Pembelajaran Teks Puisi: Studi Deskriptif pada Peserta Didik Kelas X Boga
Abstract
Pembelajaran teks puisi dalam mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia masih menghadapi berbagai kendala, khususnya dalam meningkatkan keaktifan, kreativitas, dan kemampuan peserta didik dalam memahami makna puisi. Peserta didik sering mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami unsur-unsur pembangun puisi, seperti diksi, majas, imaji, dan amanat karena pembelajaran masih cenderung bersifat teoritis dan kurang kontekstual. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) dalam pembelajaran teks puisi pada peserta didik kelas X Boga. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan subjek penelitian peserta didik kelas X Boga 1 dan X Boga 2. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, dokumentasi, wawancara, dan penilaian hasil belajar peserta didik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) mampu meningkatkan keterlibatan peserta didik dalam pembelajaran. Peserta didik menjadi lebih aktif dalam berdiskusi, mampu mengidentifikasi unsur-unsur puisi, serta lebih percaya diri dalam menyampaikan pendapat. Selain itu, penggunaan masalah kontekstual dalam pembelajaran membantu peserta didik memahami makna puisi secara lebih mendalam. Kendala yang ditemukan selama pembelajaran antara lain masih adanya peserta didik yang pasif serta keterbatasan waktu dalam proses diskusi dan presentasi. Dengan demikian, model Problem Based Learning (PBL) dapat menjadi alternatif model pembelajaran yang efektif dalam pembelajaran teks puisi.
