Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Make a Match dalam Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Matematika Bangun Datar Kelas IIIA SDN 7 Ponjalae Kota Palopo
Abstract
Permasalahan yang terjadi di SDN 7 Ponjalae Kota Palopo menunjukkan bahwa kurangnya daya tarik siswa terhadap pembelajaran matematika dan juga kesulitan dalam memahami pelajaran dengan materi yang berhubungan dengan matematika. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe make a match pada materi bangun datar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, dimana setiap siklus terdiri atas tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 27 siswa kelas IIIA SDN 7 Ponjalae Kota Palopo. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi dan tes hasil belajar. Data dianalisis menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan melihat nilai rata-rata dan tingkat ketuntasan belajar berdasarkan KKTP ≥ 73. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang signifikan pada hasil belajar siswa. Hasil dari data awal nenunjukkan nilai rata-rata 45 dengan ketuntasan mencapai 18% dengan kategori sangat kurang, pada siklus I diperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 74 dengan tingkat ketuntasan 70,4% dengan kategori cukup. Selanjutnya pada siklus II nilai rata-rata meningkat menjadi 90 dengan ketuntasan belajar mencapai 96,3% dengan kategori sangat baik. Dengan demikian, model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Make a Match terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa.
