Analisis Penggunaan Kalimat Tunggal dalam Teks Berita CNN Indonesia “BMKG Ungkap Penyebab Cuaca Ekstrem di Bandung yang Bikin Pohon Tumbang”: Kajian Sintaksis
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penggunaan kalimat tunggal dalam teks berita serta mengidentifikasi unsur-unsur sintaksis yang membentuknya. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan sintaksis. Data penelitian berupa kalimat tunggal yang diambil dari teks berita berjudul “BMKG Ungkap Penyebab Cuaca Ekstrem di Bandung yang Bikin Pohon Tumbang” yang dimuat di CNN Indonesia edisi April 2026. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui teknik simak dan catat, sedangkan teknik analisis data menggunakan metode agih. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 12 kalimat tunggal yang memiliki satu klausa dengan satu predikat. Pola kalimat yang dominan adalah S-P-K, disertai variasi pola S-P-O-K. Penggunaan kalimat tunggal dalam teks berita terbukti efektif dalam menyampaikan informasi secara singkat, jelas, dan mudah dipahami. Unsur keterangan berperan penting dalam melengkapi informasi tanpa mengubah struktur dasar kalimat. Dengan demikian, kalimat tunggal memiliki peran strategis dalam mendukung karakteristik bahasa jurnalistik yang menekankan kejelasan, ketepatan, dan keringkasan informasi.
