Premanisme dalam Novel Macan Kertas karya Budi Anggoro Ditinjau dari KUHP: Kajian Sosiologi Sastra
Abstract
Tindakan premanisme tidak bisa dielakkan dalam lini kehidupan masyarakat. Hal ini karena premanisme merupakan bagian dari masyarakat itu sendiri. Gambaran premanisme bisa dilihat dari karya sastra salah satunya novel. Novel menggambarkan aspek sosiologi yang terjadi di masyarakat lewat narasi cerita yang dipaparkan. Penelitian ini akan membedah tindakan premanisme yang ada pada Novel Macan Kertas karya Budi Anggoro. Pendekatan penelitian menggunakan sosiologi sastra membahas premanisme ditinjau dari hukum pidana KUHP. Sumber data yang digunakan dalam penelitian yakni novel Macan Kertas karya Budi Anggoro. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu studi pustaka. Analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Langkah-langkah analisis data dilakukan dengan mendeskripsikan makna kajian dalam penelitian yang berkaitan dengan tindak premanisme. Hasil penelitian ditemukan tindak premanisme yaitu tindak pemerasan, kekerasan, memaksa, dan preman yang sudah mulai masuk pada sistem masyarakat. Bentuk tindak pemerasan dilakukan preman kepada pedagang dengan merampas kios dasaran dan membisniskan kios tersebut dengan menjual kepada pedagang lain. Tidak hanya itu kekerasan yang dilakukan preman mengakibatkan cedera serius yang dialami oleh tokoh Slamet dan Fatimah.
