Penerapan Model Project Based Learning Berbantu Media Gambar dalam Pembelajaran Menulis Puisi pada Peserta Didik Kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Kendal Tahun Pelajaran 2023/2024

Abstract

Penelitian ini mendeskripsikan penerapan model Project Based Learning berbantu media gambar dalam pembelajaran menulis puisi pada peserta didik kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Kendal tahun pelajaran 2023/2024.  Pemerolehan data penelitian ini bersumber dari data tes dan nontes. Data tes meliputi pretest dan posttest, sedangkan data nontes meliputi angket, observasi, wawancara. Pengambilan sampel penelitian ditentukan secara purposive sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan  pendekatan campuran atau pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif yang didukung dengan data kuantitatif. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan triangulasi. Penyajian hasil analisis data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan secara formal dan informal. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa model pembelajaran Project Based Learning berbantu media gambar dapat diterapkan dalam pembelajaran menulis puisi karena mengalami peningkatan hasil rerata penilaian peserta didik yaitu dari nilai pretest sebesar 66,40 ke posttest sebesar 88,43 dengan peningkatan sebesar 22. Adapun hasil data nontes seperti angket, wawancara, dan observasi menunjukan bahwa peserta didik merasa senang mengikuti pembelajaran, sehingga kelas menjadi lebih kondusif. Meningkatkan minat belajar dan pemahaman materi pada peserta didik meningkat, sehingga keterampilan menulis puisi meningkat. Diharapkan hasil penelitian ini dapat menjadi bahan sumber acuan untuk peneliti lain dan dapat menjadi sebuah inovasi baru dalam menggunakan model pembelajaran bagi pendidik.
