Membangun Warga Negara Ideal: Peran Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan dalam Perspektif Indonesia
Abstract
Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan (PKn) di Indonesia berperan krusial dalam membentuk warga negara ideal yang memiliki kesadaran hukum, partisipasi politik bertanggung jawab, toleransi, dan kontribusi aktif bagi bangsa. Kajian ini menelaah peran PKn, menganalisis kurikulum, metodologi, dan kualitas pendidik, serta menelusuri sejarah perkembangannya. Studi ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kepustakaan, mengevaluasi efektivitas PKn dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai dan kompetensi di era modern, mengantisipasi tantangan kontemporer seperti teknologi dan polarisasi sosial. Kesimpulannya, peningkatan kualitas dan efektivitas PKn memerlukan strategi inovatif, kolaborasi multi-sektoral, dan pendekatan pedagogis yang efektif untuk menginternalisasi nilai-nilai dan mengembangkan kompetensi warga negara yang ideal
