Penerapan Media Gambar dalam Meningkatkan Kemampuan Menulis Permulaan Siswa
Abstract
Menulis permulaan merupakan hal dasar yang sangat penting untuk diajarkan kepada siswa kelas rendah sehingga dapat menentukan siswa untuk lanjut pada kelas berikutnya. Oleh karena itu siswa kelas rendah diharpakan menulis permulaannya dapat meningkat dari sebelumnya. Sehingga peneliti melakukan penelitian yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menulis permulaan melalui penerapan media gambar siswa kelas 1A SDN 11 Dangerakko. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Desain penelitian diawali dengan perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas IA SDN 11 Dangerakko yang berjumlah 28 orang yang terdiri dari 14 siswa laki-laki dan 14 siswa perempuan. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, tes dan dokumentasi. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar keterlaksanaan observasi dan lembar tes. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan analisis data kuantitatif deskriptif (lembar keterlaksanaan pembelajaran, lembar aktivitas belajar, data hasil kemampuan menulis permulan siswa). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada siklus I hanya 8 (29%) siswa yang mencapai nilai kategori meningkat. Pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 28 (100%) siswa telah mencapai nilai kategori. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan media gambar dapat meningkatkan kemampuan menulis permulaan siswa kelas IA SDN 11 Dangerakko.
