Ketidakadilan Gender melalui Sastra: Kekerasan terhadap Perempuan dalam Novel Kembang Jepun
Abstract
Fenomena buruk dalam lingkungan sosial menunjukkan bahwa perempuan senantiasa dijadikan sasaran empuk bagi laki-laki yang merasa memunyai kekuasaan. Perbudakan masih terjadi di mana-mana, budak nafsu, budak ekonomi, budak kesewenang-wenangan, pemukulan, penganiayaan, pelecehan seksual, pemaksaan perempuan menjadi pekerja seks, perdagangan, dan eksploitasi perempuan dalam berbagai bentuk. Berdasar dari permasalahn tersebut maka dilakukan kajian secara kualitatif tentang Ketidakadilan Gender Melalui Sastra yang difokuskan pada Kekerasan terhadap Perempuan dalam Novel Kembang Jepun. Teknik analisis data yang dimaksud adalah perpaduan antara metode analisis isi (content analysis) "positivistik kualitatif" yang dikembangkan oleh Holstik, serta model analisis interaktif. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Kekerasan terhadap perempuan merupakan manifestasi penundukan yang berbasis kelas yang menempatkan perempuan dalam posisi yang lebih inferior dibandingkan dengan laki-laki. Ketidaksetaraan kekuatan yang ada dalam masyarakat menyebabkan munculnya bentuk kejahatan yang bisa dikategorikan sebagai kekerasan gender, seperti pemerkosaan, penyiksaan yang mengarah kepada organ alat kelamin, kekerasan dalam bentuk pelacuran, serta pelecehan seksual
