Dimensi Mandiri pada Novel Sebelas Patriot karya Andrea Hirata sebagai Alternatif Sumber Belajar Apresiasi Sastra
Abstract
Dimensi mandiri dalam sebuah novel dapat menjadi salah satu media pendidikan karakter yang dapat diterpakan melalui pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan dimensi mandiri dalam novel Sebelas Patriot karya Andrea Hirata sebagai bahan ajar pembelajaran apresiasi sastra. Pendekatan penelitian ini yaitu pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif analisis. Data penelitian ini menggunakan data primer dan data sekunder. Data primer adalah novel "Sebelas Patriot" karya Andrea Hirata itu sendiri. Sedangkan data sekunder meliputi berbagai sumber seperti buku-buku referensi, artikel, dan jurnal terkait dengan teori sastra dan literatur yang relevan dengan penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya tujuh kutipan yang menunjukkan elemen pemahaman diri dan situasi yang dihadapi dan sepuluh kutipan yang menunjukkan elemen regulasi diri. Tujuh belas kutipan yang membuktinya adanya dimensi mandiri menunjukkan jika novel Sebelas Patriot karya Andrea Hirata layak sebagai sumber belajar apresiasi sastra.
