Makna Simbolik Dalam Lirik Sialnya, Hidup Harus Tetap Berjalan Karya Bernadya : Analisis Semiotika Roland Barthes
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji makna simbolik yang terkandung dalam lirik lagu album Sialnya, Hidup Harus Tetap Berjalan karya Bernadya dengan menggunakan teori semiotika Roland Barthes. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif untuk mengungkap bagaimana tanda-tanda dalam lirik lagu pada tingkat denotasi, konotasi, dan mitos membangun narasi emosional dan merefleksikan pesan-pesan ideologis yang lebih luas. Lirik dianalisis sebagai teks budaya yang tidak hanya menyampaikan ekspresi personal, tetapi juga representasi dari realitas sosial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lirik-lirik tersebut merepresentasikan pengalaman emosional mendalam seperti kesedihan, kehilangan, kecemasan, dan perjuangan menerima kenyataan. Pada tingkat denotatif, lirik menggambarkan situasi sehari-hari seperti bangun tidur, menghadapi pagi, atau menerima perpisahan. Namun pada tingkat konotatif, makna tersebut berkembang menjadi simbol beban psikologis dan tekanan batin. Pada lapisan mitos, lirik mengungkap ideologi budaya yang telah mengakar, seperti tuntutan untuk segera pulih dari luka, keharusan bersikap kuat, serta konstruksi cinta romantis yang ideal. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa lirik lagu Bernadya secara simbolik menantang narasi-narasi dominan dalam budaya populer dan memberikan ruang bagi ekspresi emosi yang jujur dan reflektif. Lagu-lagu tersebut memberi suara pada pengalaman pribadi yang penuh luka, sekaligus menjadi kritik terhadap norma-norma sosial seputar kesehatan mental, penyembuhan, dan cinta. Penelitian ini berkontribusi terhadap pengembangan kajian musik populer, semiotika, dan kritik budaya, khususnya dalam memahami bagaimana musisi perempuan independen menyuarakan realitas emosional kontemporer melalui ekspresi puitis.
