Representasi Kesadaran Ekologis dalam Konten TikTok Jerhemy Owen tentang Penanaman Mangrove: Kajian Wacana Ekolinguistik
Abstract
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis bagaimana kesadaran lingkungan diperlihatkan dalam konten TikTok Jerhemy Owen tentang penanaman mangrove berdasarkan pendekatan studi wacana ekolinguistik. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dan teori ekolinguistik dari Arran Stibbe. Teori tersebut menekankan peranan penting hubungan antara bahasa, manusia dan lingkungan. Data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh dari video TikTok Jerhemy Owen yang menggambarkan aktivitas penanaman mangrove di Pantai Mangkang, Semarang. Video tersebut diposting sebagai bentuk peringatan Hari Mangrove Sedunia tahun 2024. Data penelitian ini berupa ucapan lisan, keterangan serta cerita yang berkaitan dengan isu lingkungan. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi digital, catatan, serta dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan secara induktif dengan prosedur identifikasi, klasifikasi, dan interpretasi data.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kesadaran lingkungan ditunjukkan oleh penggunaan bahasa persuasif dan inklusif yang familiar bagi generasi muda. Dalam ajakan tersebut digambarkan bagaimana peduli terhadap lingkungan merupakan bagian dari gaya hidup generasi muda. Selain itu, hutan mangrove dianggap sebagai ekosistem yang sangat penting. Dimana hutan mangrove tersebut memiliki peranan yang sangat besar dalam menjaga keseimbangan lingkungan di pesisir dan membantu mengurangi dampak dari perubahan iklim. Penelitian ini juga menemukan penggunaan metafora lingkungan, seperti “menyembuhkan luka di bumi” yang membuat ikatan emosional antara manusia dan alam.
