Integritas Akademik Mahasiswa pada Era Artificial Intelligence: Analisis Etika Sitasi, Plagiarisme, dan Pemanfaatan Teknologi Digital
Abstract
Integritas akademik merupakan aspek penting dalam pendidikan tinggi, namun perkembangan teknologi informasi dan kecerdasan buatan (Artificial Intelligence/AI) menghadirkan tantangan baru terkait plagiarisme di kalangan mahasiswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis konsep etika sitasi, mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor penyebab plagiarisme, serta mengkaji persepsi mahasiswa terhadap plagiarisme pada era digital. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif melalui kajian literatur dan survei terhadap 41 mahasiswa. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan angket yang terdiri atas pertanyaan skala Likert dan pertanyaan terbuka, kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar responden memiliki pemahaman yang baik mengenai etika sitasi, dengan 100% responden memahami pentingnya sitasi dalam penulisan ilmiah dan 92,7% responden menganggap plagiarisme sebagai pelanggaran akademik yang serius. Namun demikian, 41,5% responden mengaku pernah menggunakan informasi dari internet tanpa mencantumkan sumber, sedangkan 70,7% responden menggunakan AI atau internet untuk membantu penyusunan tugas akademik. Selain itu, 85,4% responden berpendapat bahwa penggunaan AI dapat meningkatkan risiko plagiarisme. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa meskipun kesadaran mahasiswa terhadap integritas akademik cukup tinggi, masih terdapat tantangan dalam penerapan etika sitasi secara praktis. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan penguatan literasi akademik, pelatihan sitasi, pendidikan etika digital, dan pemanfaatan AI secara bertanggung jawab untuk mencegah plagiarisme di lingkungan perguruan tinggi.
