Media Pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris Berbasis Android
Abstract
Berbicara menggunakan bahasa inggris merupakan salah satu kegiatan yang akan menjadi bekal keterampilan berbahasa peserta didik nantinya. Di dalam berbicara (komunikasi) tersebut terdapat pembentukan (transform) dan pengalihan (transfer) pengetahuan, keterampilan ataupun sikap dan nilai dari komunikator (pendidik/ guru) kepada komunikan (peserta didik) sesuai dengan tujuan yang telah ditetapkan. Pada keterampilan berbicara (komunikasi) terdapat atas 4 aspek yang harus dimiliki oleh peserta didik yaitu pelafalan (pronouncation), tata bahasa (grammar), kosa kata (vocabulary),dan pemahaman (comprehention). Dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara (komunikasi) dan hasil belajar peserta didik kelas V perlu dilakukan pengembangan media pembelajaran bahasa inggris berbasis android. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membangun aplikasi bahasa inggris berbasis android. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian kualitatif. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi, wawancara dan studi pustaka. Aplikasi berbasis android ini menggunakan storyboard yang digunakan untuk memberikan gambaran alur pembuatan dan penggunaan aplikasi yang akan dibangun dan akan dijadikan acuan bagi programmer dalam membuat aplikasi. Perancangan aplikasi menggunakan Microsoft Office Visio 2007, Coreldraw X7 dan Ms. Word 2016. Pembuatan aplikasi menggunakan software Adobe Flash CS6. Hasil penelitian ini berupa aplikasi berbasis android.
