Pergulatan Batin dan Kebebasan dalam Puisi Tahanan Ranjang Karya Joko Pinurbo: Hermeneutika Paul Ricoeur
Abstract
Penelitian ini membahas tentang pemaknaan dalam puisi Tahanan Ranjang karya Joko Pinurbo yang diambil dari buku yang berjudul Selamat Menunaikan Ibadah Puisi dengan menggunakan pendekatan hermeneutika yang dicetuskan oleh Paul Ricoeur. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan pembahasan yang berfokus pada teks puisi dengan menggunakan teori hermeneutika sebagai alat untuk membedah makna puisi. Metode kualitatif ialah sebuah prosedur penelitian yang menghasilkan data berupa deskriptif berupa kata-kata yang ditulis dari objek yang diamati. Langkah-langkah penelitian yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah pembacaan teks puisi Tahanan Ranjang karya Joko Pinurbo secara sistematis, kemudian dilakukan klasifikasi data terhadap kata, kalimat maupun frasea yang mengandung makna-makna yang dikaji dengan menggunakan teori hermeneutik. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah puisi menggambarkan perjuangan individu untuk melarikan dari keterbatasan, baik yang bersifat fisik maupun mental.
