Analisis Entri Kosakata Bahasa Batak Toba dalam Kamus Besar Bahasa Indonesia (KBBI) Edisi VI
Abstract
Bahasa daerah memiliki peran penting dalam memperkaya kosakata bahasa Indonesia. Salah satu bahasa daerah yang memberikan kontribusi terhadap perkembangan kosakata bahasa Indonesia adalah bahasa Batak Toba. Kosakata dari berbagai bahasa daerah, termasuk bahasa Batak Toba, didokumentasikan dalam Kamus Besar Bahasa Indonesia (KBBI) sebagai kamus resmi bahasa Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis kosakata bahasa Batak Toba yang tercatat dalam KBBI edisi VI serta menjelaskan bagaimana kosakata tersebut direpresentasikan dalam struktur entri kamus. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi literatur. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah Kamus Besar Bahasa Indonesia (KBBI) edisi VI, sedangkan data penelitian berupa entri kosakata yang berasal dari bahasa Batak Toba. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara mengidentifikasi dan mencatat kosakata bahasa Batak Toba yang terdapat dalam KBBI. Data kemudian dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif untuk menjelaskan bentuk lema, makna, serta penandaan bahasa yang terdapat dalam entri kamus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 50 kosakata bahasa Batak Toba yang tercatat dalam KBBI edisi VI dan ditandai dengan label (Bt) yang menunjukkan asal bahasanya. Kosakata tersebut mencerminkan berbagai aspek kehidupan masyarakat Batak Toba, seperti sistem kekerabatan, adat istiadat, seni budaya, serta kehidupan sosial masyarakat. Keberadaan kosakata bahasa Batak Toba dalam KBBI menunjukkan adanya kontribusi bahasa daerah dalam memperkaya perbendaharaan kosakata bahasa Indonesia sekaligus menjadi bentuk dokumentasi dan pengakuan terhadap keberadaan bahasa daerah dalam perkembangan bahasa nasional.
