Pemanfaatan Video YouTube dan Wordwall Berbasis Scaffolding untuk Mengatasi Kesulitan Memahami Instruksi Siswa Tunagrahita di SLB-E Negeri Pembina Medan
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pemanfaatan video YouTube dan Wordwall berbasis scaffolding dalam membantu peserta didik tunagrahita memahami instruksi pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di SLB-E Negeri Pembina Medan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas peserta didik tunagrahita dan guru kelas. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan video YouTube membantu peserta didik memahami langkah-langkah mencuci tangan secara visual dan konkret. Sementara itu, Wordwall melalui kuis interaktif dan kegiatan mencocokkan gambar mampu meningkatkan fokus, antusiasme, dan partisipasi peserta didik dalam pembelajaran. Penerapan scaffolding melalui arahan sederhana, pengulangan instruksi, dan pendampingan bertahap juga membantu peserta didik mengikuti instruksi dengan lebih mandiri. Secara keseluruhan, media visual dan interaktif berbasis scaffolding memberikan dampak positif terhadap pemahaman instruksi pembelajaran peserta didik tunagrahita.
